To rise as a leafless tree,
reaching higher, wasting nothing.
For the last fruits to skip the blooming,
to yield no fruit for the animal.
Grown not for strength but height,
no bends, no branches.
A fearsome tree,
with neither nests nor ants.
Denying its treeness,
making immortal timber.
