PRE-SPRING DAWN

In floating cloud round semi frost

bitterness rosy flying,

homelessly wand’ring, like wine, lost

in she-saint stomachs lying.

Where the twin female burner blazed,

there self borne poison’s leeching.

Snow kicked off blankets while sleep dazed:

you see grass foot deep reaching.

Do statues eat?… The ice shard fell

on sparrows dream splashed nicely.

Soon bumblebees will flowers tell

their sucrose gauged precisely.
