I finally arrived

at the sand’s wet edge,

举目四望，耸耸肩

look around, shrug

我已安于此地

that I am where I am,

staring at the end.

一把银斧顽皮地

A silver ax strokes

抚弄夏天的叶子。

summer leaves. Playfully.

我坚定地栖息在

I’m perched solidly

虚无的树枝上。

on nothing’s branch.

瘦小的身躯瑟瑟发抖

The small body shivers

为了迎接天堂。

to receive heaven.

铁色的

Iron-colored.

冰凉闪耀的电机

Cool shiny dynamos revolve

在星辰静谧的旋转中旋转。

in the quiet revolution of stars.

几乎没有词语迸出，咬紧的牙关。

Words barely spark from clenched teeth.

往昔跌跌撞撞

The past tumbles

像石头穿过空间，

stone-like through space,

蓝色的时间漂浮远去

blue time floating off

寂寂无声。

without a sound. A blade

刀锋闪烁，我的头发

flashes, my hair—

我的胡子是一条丰满的

My mustache is a full

毛虫，从我麻木的嘴上垂下，

caterpillar drooping

我的心在疼，词语冰寒。

down my numb mouth,

my heart aches, words are cold.
