through the window i see a church
yet close the curtains i see it not
the glorious and the sacred in a ditch
up above the stars aglow
glistening also down below
the light crept and sneaked into our bed
it bursted out from your solid body
the light was a feeling
i could feel it even though the window
through the glass
so warm and so strong
like the birth of a new star from stardust
such is the melody we both trust
now that we’ve arrived at the church
by means of miraculously flaming reins
close the curtains we see it still
and something real has connected our veins
