AUTUMN

Like a coin softy laid before a blind man

my autumn you are here

like a coin softy laid before a blind man

you my days now appear

You charming breeziness cleansing by burning

waft back my childhood with each haulm smoke swell

I go back to old places seeking yearning

my love to tell

For your own scarcity and human wanting

that I share for always

come autumn, with your sorrowfulness daunting,

heavy upon me weigh

and paying down with your fine foliage metals

buy me out from drab days

freeing me of all timorousness settle

so fresh inhale I may

Like a coin softy laid before a blind man

my autumn you are here

like a coin softy laid before a blind man

you my days now appear
