sharp and yellow

like flowers of the pagoda tree, withered

like the big iron pan in the dining hall

turned over.

Many wept

for the sharp and yellow toenails,

Like ghosts,
幾只蒼蠅,
a few flies
幽靈一樣,
rest on his eyelids.
歇在老人的眼皮上,
Driven off, they fly back.
