for the sharp and yellow toenails,

for the swollen flesh,

為腫得很大的肚子，

many wept.

Like ghosts,

幾只蒼蠅，

a few flies

幽靈一樣，

rest on his eyelids.

歇在老人的眼皮上，

Driven off, they fly back.
