我曾看见太阳破云而出

我看见阳光冲破云雾

照亮一小块田地，

照亮了一小块田地

就一会儿，然后继续赶路

一会儿，我继续赶路

忘了此事。可那是巨价的

并忘了它。但那却是

珍珠，是藏有宝贝的

重价的珍珠，一块藏着

一块田地 。如今我明白

宝贝的田地*。现在我意识到，

我必须付出所有

我必须交出我所有的一切

去将它拥有。生命并非追赶

去得到它。人生不是匆匆

后退的未来，也非追慕

奔向一个后退着的未来，也不是渴望

想象的过去，而是转向

一个想象的过去。人生是转过

一旁，如摩西望见那奇迹

脸，像摩西朝向那个神迹

燃烧的荆丛，面对一种明亮，

那燃烧的荆棘*，朝向一个光明

它看似短暂，如你易逝的青春，

它看似短暂如你曾经的青春

却正是等着你的永恒。

但却是等候着你的那个永恒。
