After whose stroke the wood rings,

回声传来！

And the echoes!

群马般地

Echoes traveling

回声从中心扩散开来。

Off from the center like horses.

树液

The sap

像眼泪涌流，像池水

Wells like tears, like the

努力使

Water striving

自己重新平复如镜

To re-establish its mirror

在坠落和

Over the rock

翻滚着的石头之上，

That drops and turns,

一颗白骷髅，

A white skull,

被丛生的青草吞噬。

Eaten by weedy greens.

多年之后我

Years later I

在路上遇见它们——

Encounter them on the road—-

词语枯竭，没了骑手，

Words dry and riderless,

不倦的马蹄踏踏作响，

The indefatigable hoof-taps.

而

While

从那深潭之底，固着的星簇

From the bottom of the pool, fixed stars

支配一生性命。

Govern a life.
