the strays keep arriving: now we have 5
cats and they are tenuous, flighty, con-
ceited, naturally bright and awesomely
beautiful.

one of the finest things about cats is
that when you're feeling bad, very bad—
if you just look at a cat cooling it
the way they do
it's a lesson in persevering against
the odds, and
if you can look at 5 cats that's 5
times better.

no matter the dozens of cans of tuna
from the supermarket: it's fuel for
an untapped dignity—a splendid
sleek energy of
YEA
especially when it all becomes too
much: this over-thought upon the
happenings of
humans.
