Hayyay – חיי

The world turneth in a full circuit, and the evil prevaileth.
יהוה, behold, she whom Thou lovest is sick. And Moses said: Heal her now, O God, I beseech Thee.
Silence all words of sorrow, And blind all words of calamity, and in me shall be all joy.2
In blue hast Thou coloured the sea, and in red hast Thou created man. Half half Thou preservest memories in us; in the High Places, and Thy spirit is with us.
Now have I known, O King of Ways, how the nations shall see Thee: Without acknowledging their iniquity.
What is the life now in Thine eyes, יהוה?
Comforts, and thanksgivings, and lamentations. In Kizuna we shall rejoice again unto the cold Kadimah, for there art Thou, and there is my beloved.
At this time I will count and I will find; my whole self—my bones, my blood, and my flesh—unto thee will I dedicate.
In a land of no sorrow, and that needeth not hope, we shall drown in joy together.
Come ye home! I go not out to the outside, for unto thee I come.
