their hollow silence drawing all my strength.

我終於明白飄臨大地的落葉

How leaves drift toward earth,

為何都有被歲月說服的安靜表情

toward calm, time’s wooing.

而那棵舉起訣別之手的樅樹

That fir tree, its limbs in farewell,

注定要高出眾樹

grown taller than any,

高過自身——

taller than itself.

虛無，就這樣來到我的唇上

Thus nothingness settles on my lips.
