the exquisite skin,

transparent, each scale hexagonal,

vulnerable to pain,

incomplete,

皮紋

fractured,

一格格透明的

alive.

蜂巢

說害羞

Scented junipers

痛

hide ambush in the hills.

都是蜜

Something sheds its flesh

不完整的

but does not speak.

斷裂

Where a snake enters earth

也是

the breeze tastes sharpened air.

說龍柏香

I’ve come to know

埋伏

little by little

在小山丘

a blood red being

有人

in the dark of night

蛻皮

flashing dimly green.

不說

有蛇

在洞口

風輕輕

嗅聞

一點點生辛

我知道

一寸寸剝解

有人

醞釀血色

在黑夜
