奇怪的是

It’s strange

这儿仍有绿色的山谷

that green valleys are still here

仿佛幸福沉睡于其中

as if happiness slept in them

还有阴凉的溪流

and shady streams

我们曾经确切地知道

we once knew for sure

存在

existed

还有屋顶

and that there still are roofs

小小的孩子们睡在屋顶下

under which small children sleep

以一种别样的寂静充满着屋子

filling the house with a different silence.

奇怪的是

这里的云朵依然追随着太阳

that clouds here still follow the sun

像滑翔的鸟儿

like gliding birds

除了向上的渴望

and that there still is simple human goodness

还有人性中单纯的良善

besides what aspires upwards

纯粹的音乐矗立在门口

that pure music stands at the door

它突然间仿佛一座宫殿的柱廊

which suddenly seems like a palace portico

奇怪的是

want so much to love and cry
