But on the morrow, when I passed that way,

On Menai shore the hush of heaven lay;

梅奈海滨一派天堂的祥和；

The wind was gentle and the sea a flower

风儿轻柔，大海仿如一朵花，

And the sun slumbered on Caernarfon tower.
